Core150 Shaker Review

This has been in the pipeline for a while, but now it is finally here. If like me you have used supplements at any point in your sports career or gym life, then you will most definitely have used a shaker at some point. There's a myriad of shakers out there from the cheep and cheerful types that always end up stinking to the fancy high end types with metal balls inside to insure your protein powder turns to something you can swallow!

I've gone through quite a few and there was always the same issue - closing mechanism - I have shaken blue Amino Energy all over myself and everyone else in the gym on one embarrassing occasion. I've also been seen crying into my gym bag when I discover protein powder everywhere after the shaker has opened in transit - on the upside, raspberry scented shorts seemed good until I started sweating.

So what's so special about this shaker? First of all, they come in a wide range of colours and you all know that green is my colour. Also less people will ask what the blue water you are drinking is! Secondly, it's a good size ensuring you can mix well - plenty of space to move everything around in there. The lid on top is very secure and easy to open. No risky swilling from this bad boy - once it's closed it's closed. The fun really starts when you take a look inside.

Their internal storage tray is divided in 3 compartments which allows you to carry more supplements with you. Each compartment can take about 2 scoops of protein powder which means when you pop it in your bag, you could have 6 shakes in there - all in one shaker. Genius. No, I do not drink 6 protein shakes a day but I do travel a lot and this is perfect! Saves me carrying around tubs and finding powder all over my bag for the sniffer dogs when I am flying.

I've taken this green shaker to Senegal, Finland, Kazakhstan, Ireland and the UK so far. Each time I've been relieved to know that all my supplements are safely packed and secure. Of course you can use the compartments to store other supplements, vitamins or whatever, but I have started taking it to the hotel breakfast with me and filling it with dried fruit and nuts.

As well as all the convenience, design and more, they have an excellent initiative to support Mary's Meals http://www.core150.com/giving-back. This program delivers healthy meals in developing parts of the world - every time you buy a shaker they make a donation. So, what are you waiting for? Dust that protein powder off your top, pick up a Core150 today - feel good and look good!
